This page is a lightweight index. Deep lore lives in documents you pick up throughout the game — the Chapter 1 walkthrough calls out newspapers, letters, and occult pages in order so you do not miss readable worldbuilding.
Arkham & timelines. Observer clippings anchor the near-future setting; cross-check dates when KEY asks for timeline deductions on the vault board.
PIT & expeditions. Chapter 2 links surface politics to underwater structures. Treat the Incident Report from Chapter 1 as mandatory reading before the dive.
KEY. The companion AI is both tool and narrator — optional dialogues often hide extra context without risking achievements.
